Image of the Invisible is a band that loves to play music. Their members come from three different states; Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. They bring a variety of different tastes and styles in music with them so don’t expect a stereotypical band when you listen to them. Their band is made up of Jacob Loper (Lead guitar/clean vocals), Scott Foreman (Rhythm guitar/clean vocals), Matt Dawson (Drums) and Cody Wheeler (Vocals). They got their name from Colossians 1:15, “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.” They would like to show the world that there is more to life than physical things. There is a God who wants and desires to have a personal relationship with everybody. And though our sins have separated that relationship, Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh, has come down and died for our … Read More »

Affection, belonging, loss and nostalgia: four themes that encompass the lyrically driven music of The Written Years. These subjects are constantly questioned throughout the band’s songs, delivered passionately and honestly through Wade Ouellet’s melancholic acid-tinged vocals, Kane Enders’ unexpectedly triumphant drum lines and Kodie Krogh’s melodic and memorable guitar hooks.

Together, these three people are able to create a sound not currently heard in the Vancouver music scene, merging together a unique combination of indie alt. rock, traditional folk, post rock influences. Described as “Winter Music”, the result of all this manages to feel both incredibly intimate and uncomfortably isolating and is backed by a highly energetic live show – made possible by a revolving cast of friends, helping to make each one a completely different experience.

After six years in the making, The Written Years released their debut album on January … Read More »

Kris Angelis has been living musically her whole life. “My mom says I’ve been singing since before I could talk. I would sing melodies when I didn’t actually know words.” Growing up on a farm in Florida, Angelis spent her childhood playing, running around the farm, and making up songs with her twin sister. They composed their first song at the age of three — and it lives on now, interwoven into one of Kris’s more recent works.

While her early musical influences were limited to her grandparents’ Rodgers and Hammerstein videos, her parents’ records, and the Lawrence Welk show — one of the few that came in on their TV — Kris did not feel deprived. “I would put on my parents vinyl records which included the Beatles, the Eagles, the Archies, and even Strauss waltzes, and dance around, pretending to be the singer. … Read More »

We’re The Well Reds from Atlanta, GA. Home of the Braves, Waffle House, and Coca-Cola.  Soon we’ll be releasing a new collection of songs that catalogue the highs and lows we’ve experienced personally and professionally as members of an independent touring band. We make music for the masses, we write songs that ask people to feel and move without placing any limitations or expectations on what they should think or experience. We’re musicians because it’s wired into our bones, inherited from professional musicians and musically inclined parents who proliferated a deep appreciation for the arts and an understanding that music matters, that performance matters.

It’s through this understanding and with the support of friends, family, fans, and strangers alike that we’ve been able to invest so much of ourselves into the band, along the way notching up life experiences and collecting glimpses of … Read More »

The Julian Day began recording immediately after the Winter Solstice of 2010 and posted their first song “Policy” on ReverbNation during the first week of January, 2011. With the days growing longer, they felt something in the air. And then came the Arab Spring and The Julian Day were in what Shakespeare once called, “a fine frenzy rolling.”

Immersed at a young age in the songs of the great singer-songwriters of the 70s and the experimentation of 80’s bands like New Order, U2 and Echo and The Bunnymen, The Julian Day fuses the two to offer a wholly new sound for 2014 that amps it up while stripping it down. With The Julian Day you’ll find good songwriting mixed with just enough instrumentation to drive the songs along. Working with the idea that art is best when nothing can be added … Read More »

Starr Saunders is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Oakland, California. Her sound is not easily boxed into one specific genre.  Her music comes from a place of truth that speaks of life’s struggles, triumphs and ultimately finding oneself. Many of her songs originated as a call to her own voice-mail whenever a melody and/or irrepressible lyric strikes her.

Presently, she has a publishing deal with Five Alarm Music, two solo albums under her belt with a new LP in the works, and often collaborates with other in the hip-hop, rock and pop genres. She is regularly sought out by well-known artists including Grammy Award Winner, Dave Merenda and chart-hitting producer, Richard (KIDD RICH) Harris and is getting class weekly to collaborate on products in both LA and the Bay Area.

Jerome Spence, Sr. Creative Director for Film & Television at peermusic says “Starr … Read More »

Bethany and Jared first met each other on November 13th, 2009. It was a cool winter day and Jared and his band the Junkyard Poets had come to play a show in her small town. As she walked up the steps of the concert hall Jared was awe struck and between gasping for air he managed to utter a singular syllable to his band mates. “Dibs.”

After 3 years of courting one another the big question was popped and the wedding bells welcomed another happily married couple.

Just days after Bethany and Jared were married they started The Royal Foundry and were quickly thrown into the deep end of the music industry. Playing their first show together on live television at the GMA Awards for their nominated single “Run Back.” Within weeks they had gone from engaged couple to married and sharing … Read More »
